Wayne Swan and Penny Wong get it wrong!
Wayne Swan has attacked Malcolm Turnbull for spending $9.6 million for a trial for rain enhancement technology while he was the environment minister.
How dare Turnbull look for innovative ways to help ease the crippling drought we are currently in. What the hell does he think he's doing? I hope, for Turnbull's sake, Penny Wong doesn't find out about this.
Oh, whoops, looks like she has.
And guess what, after Mr. Swan accuses Turnbull of spending taxpayers recklessly, look what good old Penny Wong does:
Would it not be better to follow through with the trial? We have already payed for some of it, which we won't get back, and we are currently in the worst drought in history.
Nope, instead Swan uses it as an opportunity to have a crack at Turnbull, who has humiliated him countless times in Question Time this year.

Climate Change and Water Minister Penny Wong has written to interested parties cancelling the grant, however some of the money had already been spent and is unlikely to be recovered.

I don't think we're too shabby on water actually after we've just had the wettest summer in a long time.
Still I'm all for innovation.
