The Current Affairs Blog
This is a new blog dedicated to reporting and commenting on current news issues that have arisen recently, with a particular focus on the Australian media. This blog is open for discourse with readers, and the ultimate aim is something in the vain of 60 Minutes, A Current Affair or Today Tonight. I realise that’s probably a little too ambitious, considering I'm a single person with limited resources vs. three major news machines. Never the less, the aim is the same, discuss issues that are important and relevant to Australian Society.
The topic broached will be things like the current Crisis in the Middle East, lesser known news items like the present flooding of the IT job market by immigrant workers, even though up to 30 percent of Australian graduates can not find full time work, or how petrol prices are really affecting consumer spending.
In my attempts at reporting and discussing current events, I will try to steer clear of the 6 month loop of stories that seem to occur on the television broadcasted Current Affairs programs, rather always attempting to discuss new issues, or at the very least a different angle on something well worn.
Please keep in mind that i like feed back, whether it is stars or comments, its all good. Also if at all possible, click on some of the Google Ads, your support is very much appreciated!
