But first : History will be made on Freshly Doug this Thursday with the launch of the world's first and only purpose-made Pride 'anthem', "Proudly Walking", written and produced by David Peake and Will Conyers for Pride March Victoria.
It will go air on Thursday January 21, 2010 on JOY 94.9 at 9.10am AEDST on 'Freshly Doug'. As well as the writers/composers/producers, Brett Hayhoe, President of Pride March Victoria, and General Manager of JOY 94.9, Danae Gibson, will be there in the studio for the launch.
The lyrics of this unique song are drawn from the thoughts and feelings of member of the gay community, about what Pride March means to them.
But you're getting not just one version, but TWO!!

THE FEATURED ARTISTS
Raelene Isbester
Originally from Country NSW, Raelene completed a Bachelor of Music Theatre from Central Queensland University Conservatorium of Music. In recent years Raelene has worked extensively at Tokyo Disney Resort in numerous shows at the Diamond Horseshoe. Raelene has also appeared regularly in Latin and Christmas special events, recordings and voiceovers at both Tokyo Disney Sea and Tokyo Disneyland. Raelene’s TV credits include Blue Heelers and Neighboursand can be seen in numerous short films and independent features.
Raelene created the role of Samantha in both the 2008 preview and the recent production of Tracy Harvey and Doug Macleod’s Call Girl the Musical at Chapel off Chapel earlier this year. Raelene recently completed the Brisbane season of Eurobeat – Almost Eurovision with the Glynn Nicholas Group, where she was delighted to play an Icelandic minion, a butch and bitter Hungarian folk dancer, an overly excited Swedish pop singer and an enthusiastic Bosnian.
Adrian Li Donni
Adrian Li Donni recently performed and toured with Broadway writing legends, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens in an Australian National Concert Tour of their works: BROADWAY TO AUSTRALIA.
Earlier in 2009, he played the role of Lun Tha in the world premiere of the newly-restored, “The King And I”, featuring a 35-piece orchestra playing the original Robert Russell Bennett orchestrations for Lyric Stage in the United States. In NY, Adrian has performed in “Ziegfeld’s Midnight Frolic of ‘08″ for The Ziegfeld Club and Mark York Productions, at Joe’s Pub in “Leap”, at Ars Nova in “Lance Horne, Or What You Will” and in numerous cabaret shows at Don’t Tell Mama and The Duplex.
Adrian also recently performed the work of Emmy award-winning song writer, Lance Horne in “An Evening With Lance Horne” at Chapel off Chapel in Melbourne. Other favourite credits include “Measure For Measure”, “The Seagull”, “Rent” and “Songs For A New World”. Graduate of the Circle In The Square Theatre School ‘08 in New York, N.Y.
