Australia's cricket tour of Pakistan postponed
Cricket Australia and the Pakistan Cricket Board have announced that the tour of Pakistan, which was to take place in April and May of this year, has been postponed.
CA Chairman Mr Creagh O’Connor and PCB Chairman Dr. Nasim Ashraf will meet next week in Dubai to discuss possible dates for the series to take place.
CA Chairman Mr Creagh O’Connor explained the decision:
“We are very sorry that the tour could not take place at this time.
“This was a difficult decision based on independent review of the circumstances prevailing in Pakistan at the moment.
“We wish no loss to Pakistan Cricket Board and look forward to undertaking this tour in the near future”.

PCB Chairman Dr. Nasim Ashraf also commented on the decision:
“We are obviously very disappointed at this decision.
“I guess there is not much we could do and sincerely hope that the tour of Australia to Pakistan can materialise at the earliest opportunity.”

Those players involved in the Indian Premier League won't be to disappointed, as it will allow them to participate in the brand new tournament next month in India.
